Opener Repair & Installation
Chain, belt, direct-drive and smart openers repaired or replaced, including LiftMaster and Chamberlain.
Typical price $125 to $650 · repairs from $125; new opener installed from $350
Overview
When the door itself moves freely by hand but the motor will not lift it, the opener is the problem.
We repair logic boards, gears, travel limits, sensors and remotes, and when a unit is past saving we install new belt-drive and WiFi openers with battery backup the same day.
What is included

- New opener installation: chain, belt, direct-drive and wall-mount (jackshaft) units
- Smart openers with app control, camera and battery backup
- Safety sensor alignment and replacement
- Remote, keypad and car HomeLink programming

Signs you need this
Sound familiar?
If any of these match, stop using the door and call. Running a door with a failed part damages the opener and the panels, and turns a small repair into a big one.
- Motor hums or clicks but the door does not move
- Door reverses right after touching the floor
- Remote works only up close, or not at all
- Grinding or a stripped-gear sound from the motor unit
- Opener light blinks and the door refuses to close

Questions
Opener Repair & Installation: common questions
Belt or chain drive?
Belt drives are quieter and better for a garage under a bedroom. Chain drives cost less and are perfectly reliable for detached garages. We carry both.
Can you connect my opener to my phone?
Yes. Most new openers include WiFi, and many existing units can take a small add-on hub so you can open, close and check the door from anywhere.
